Eligibility for MPS Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training
To apply for the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program, you must:
- Be enrolled in or have completed a post-graduate degree program in a mental health field
- Be licensed or eligible for licensure as a MD, LP, LICSW or LMFT
Psychotherapy experience is helpful, though not required. It is not necessary to have a private practice, but the opportunity to apply knowledge and techniques discussed in class with your clientele is of great benefit.
After completing the admissions application, you will be notified of acceptance and the starting date of classes.
